Programs & Activities: WorkshopsThese workshops are devoted to the enhancement of teaching skills with a look at career development and scholarship in education and are offered throughout the academic year. Each workshop is free to faculty in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. Registration is required. If you are not a faculty member, but are active in the teaching of health professionals at the University of Toronto, please feel free to register for workshops. A $50 registration will apply to all non Faculty of Medicine participants. Workshops meet the accreditation criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and have been accredited for 3.5 MAINPRO-M1 credits per each workshop (unless otherwise noted). Workshops have also been approved as an Accredited Group Learning Activity under Section 1 of the Framework of CPD options for the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada - 3.5 hours per workshop (unless otherwise noted). In an effort to allow as many faculty as possible to access our programs, we have created a new policy. Should a workshop registrant no show for 50% of their registered workshops in one term, they will automatically be placed on our wait list for any workshops they register for in the following term.
